Growing up by a lake in northwestern Wisconsin, I developed a deep connection to nature, which fuels my nightscape and landscape photography. My landscape photography pays tribute to the awe-inspiring environments that shape our world, from serene forests and waterfalls to majestic mountains. I evoke a sense of wonder and respect for nature’s unfiltered beauty.

In 2021 I fell in love with taking photos of the night sky and I convinced my husband to come along with me, we now call this Our Journey. It’s something we do together, sit under the stars, look up at the night sky, all the while capturing the beauty of the night sky to bring to those who haven’t experienced it firsthand.
It’s the things you can’t see in my photos that bring me tranquility, sometimes it’s the lonely call of the loon, the coyotes howling in the distance, or the bullfrogs croaking at one another. Other times it’s the owl calling out and another answering back, the beaver slapping its tail on the water warning us he knows we are there, or the fish jumping in the water.
